WOLFCOM® Testifies Before Sacramento California State Assembly About Police Body Cameras
Los Angeles, CA- A newly released video showcases WOLFCOM’s July presentation before the Sacramento California State Assembly Committee on Community and Law Enforcement Relations and Responsibilities hearing on Police Body Worn Cameras. Chairman Assemblyman Jim Cooper invited WOLFCOM, California’s only Police Body Camera Manufacturer, to open the hearing with a demonstration about body camera technology. The hearing was streamed live on the State Assembly Website. WOLFCOM Founder and police body camera expert Peter Austin Onruang and WOLFCOM CEO Tiffany Wang did a presentation about police body camera technology and video management software and storage options for the committee followed by a question and answer period with the assembly members.

There are many questions, issues and misconceptions being raised about police body camera usage, so it’s important that lawmakers who shape public policy, understand the facts about this new developing technology. As the only body camera manufacturer in California, it is important for WOLFCOM to share critical information about police body camera technology with elected officials and lawmakers in our own back yard,” said WOLFCOM Founder Peter Austin Onruang.
WOLFCOM Chief Executive Officer Tiffany Wang spoke in detail about WOLFCOM Evidence Management Solution Software and how it helps police departments manage the video files taken by the police body cameras. "It was a great opportunity to be able to speak to the California State Assemble about body cameras. The most important piece in providing body cameras is educating people on e ach part that goes into a body camera solution. It is not only having the correct features in the hardware, but also having key functions in the software that manages all the evidence," said Wang.
